BROWS
Microblading is a permanent cosmetic procedure that uses a specialized, hand controlled tool to etch into the skin and implant pigment that resembles the appearance of natural eyebrow hair. It is ideal for filling in sparse areas of the natural eyebrow where hair isn’t present, and also defining and enhancing brow shape.
With the proper technique, microbladed eyebrow results look beautiful and completely natural.

What to Expect From Your Appointment
Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery is a procedure categorized under semi permanent makeup, but unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent. Microblading can last 12-18 months, depending on skin type and skincare routine. The procedure is done by using a hand tool with ultra fine needles and each stroke is gently etched into the skin, giving an incredibly natural and realistic look. Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrow and is excellent for those wanting to enhance their brows or who have little to no eyebrows, thinning brows from age or over tweezed brows. Pigments used are chosen to match the natural or desired brow colour and skin tone will also be taken into consideration.
How long does it take?
For the first Microblading session, the entire procedure should take about 2-3 hours. During this session, Mia will complete an in depth consultation and choose brow style, shape and colour with the client. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, she will begin the procedure.
The client is to come in for a follow up visit in order to have any minor necessary touch ups. The second Microblading session takes place after 5-8 weeks after the initial session. This session will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
On the day of your treatment a topical numbing cream can be applied to the brow area, this will allow for you to be comfortable during your treatment.
Aftercare
The best possible healed results require strict adherence to the microblading aftercare instructions.
Once treatment is completed your brows may look slightly red and the brow will look stronger and darker than expected at first but any redness will fade within a couple of hours.
The shade of the brows will initially appear quite dark but will fade by around 50% as the brow heals.
During this time, you will need to apply a balm three times a day or when the eyebrows feel tight or itchy.
The brows should be kept dry for the first week. They may feel sensitive or achy for the first few days but the sensation will fade after this time.
After the first treatment you will need a second 4-6 weeks later to review the result and fill in any gaps that need it. The brows will fade naturally over 12-18 months as the skin rejuvenates, at which time you will need a top-up treatment to retain the shape and colour.

- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Taking any blood thinning medication
- Has Excessively oily skin
- Has allergies to any metals
- Is under the age of 18

Ombre brow is when the bulb of the brow is lighter and the tail darker.
Ombre literally means dark to light or graduation of colour. In permanent make-up it is when the colour of the brow is shaded and faded to make the bulb of the brow lighter and the tail darker.
The digital powder brow method involves the application of thousands of tiny dots of pigment, inserted into the skin, gradually building up a colour and defined shape.
Digital powder brows use a more traditional tattooing method, with longer lasting results, and works with most skin types, including oily or combination skin. Clients come back for colour boosts closer to the 18-24 month mark. The brow is also fuller and more defined or dramatic than with the microblading method.
For clients who have zero natural brows, the powder or combi technique is the way to go. If someone doesn’t have a lot of hair, or if someone has no hair, I wouldn’t recommend microblading without some shading as there would be no depth to the brow.
Similarly, someone with thin, oily skin wouldn’t be a good candidate for traditional microblading because the oil would cause the lines to blur in a matter of months.
Powder brows also age and fade well, a concern lots of would-be microblade clients have. It’s diffused powder, so when it fades it just gets lighter, and lighter, and lighter. Powder ombre or combi brows won’t require a touch up quite as soon as you would for microblading.

Combination brows – hairstrokes with powder effect.
The ‘combi brow’ is a more defined and filled look than would be achieved with microblading on its own.
The Combination Brow is a treatment that combines hair stroke simulation with a mist of colour. Combining microblading with ombre powder together creates a more defined looking brow than just hairstrokes alone.
A Combi Brow is excellent for those looking for an incredibly natural looking brow. It is suitable for all skin types, as the ratio of hairstrokes to powder brow can be adapted depending on skin type.

As with all treatments, the first step will be a consultation. We will discuss your current brow shape and what you are looking to achieve. Then with conventional cosmetics we will design your ideal shape by drawing a template onto your brows. Before the treatment begins, a bespoke pigment colour is mixed to match your natural brow hair perfectly. We can refine the template also to ensure you are fully satisfied with the design and colour.

LIPS

FAUX FRECKLES
The next big thing in PMU and so natural looking, faux freckles take around 1-2 hours dependant on how many you want and last for up to 2 years with the correct aftercare.
Your personal signature freckle tone will be mixed for you to match your skin, hair and eye colour before implanting little specks of pigment into the top layer of the skin to create a natural look.

SALINE REMOVALS
What Is Saline Removal?
Saline tattoo removal is a non-laser method for lifting unwanted pigment from the skin. It is widely used in the permanent makeup (PMU) industry due to its effectiveness, minimal risk of scarring, and suitability for most skin types.
How It Works
The treatment uses a sterile saline solution that is implanted into the skin using a tattoo machine or manual tool. This solution causes osmosis, drawing pigment particles to the surface of the skin, where they are then expelled during the healing process.
Indications
Saline removal is ideal for:
- Unwanted or poorly executed permanent makeup
- Minor pigment corrections or lightening.
- Clients who cannot undergo laser tattoo removal.
- Colour correction prep before pigment re-application.
Saline Removal Saline vs Laser
Saline works by Osmosis. The high concentration of salt draws the water underneath and surrounding the pigment up to the surface of the skin to be contained and removed by the scab. So, whereas Laser pushes pigment back down into the body to be removed by the lymph and waste system, saline moves the pigment up and out of the skin via the scabbing process. Saline is not colour restricted and will remove all colours including white (titanium dioxide). Saline is also not depth specific, meaning it will target and start lifting pigment/ink no matter the depth that it resides.
